MCLAUGHLIN, S.D. (AP) - A South Dakota man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for sexually abusing a child.

U.S. Attorney Brendan Johnson has announced that 53-year-old Bradley Speker, of McLaughlin, was sentenced last week for aggravated sexual abuse of a child. Speker pleaded guilty to the charge in August.

Prosecutors say Speker engaged in a sexual act with a child under the age of 12 between January 2010 and January 2012.
