
RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - Western Dakota Technical Institute in Rapid City is seeing more turnover in its top administrators, 10 months after its president left with no explanation.
The Rapid City Area Schools Board of Education on Thursday approved the resignation of WDTI Vice President Cathy Anderson and the non-renewal of the contract for Dean of Health and Human Services Marge Beam. The Rapid City Journal reports (http://bit.ly/ZH1O0G ) that the changes were effective Nov. 9. The board did not discuss details on Thursday.
Former school president Craig Bailey left in January after three years, saying he did not resign nor was he fired. He was replaced a few months later. In October, Dean of Students Janell Oberlander resigned.
